The Palms at Florence is seeking an experienced Wound Care Nurse to provide the highest standards of care to our residents. As part of our team you will: assist in developing and maintaining a plan of care to prevent and heal wounds; Provide regular Wound Care according to standards of practice, policy and procedure and infection control guidelines; Communicate with residents, families and the interdisciplinary team to include physician, wound physician and nurse practitioner; Prepare weekly reports to discuss wound progress. The ideal candidate is a RN with Wound Care Certification or willingness to obtain Wound Care Certification within 6 months of employment, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to interact in a positive and motivating manner.
