Form of workThe Clinical Educator is responsible for increasing staff competence through direct education, role modeling, orientation, in-service education, clinical process analysis and annual competencies.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
- BSN or RN currently enrolled in BSN program; must successfully complete BSN with three (3) years of hire
- One (1) year experience in surgical services
- Demonstrated clinical expertise
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient care systems
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
- Current Michigan Nursing License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Significant experience in the surgical services environment
- Previous experience as a preceptor
- Previous EPIC preceptor experience
- CNOR Certification
- Professional Certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence
