Take your career to the next level as a RN Transfer Coordinator in the Access Center at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. PeaceHealth is seeking a RN Transfer Coordinator - Access Center for a Part Time, 0.60 FTE, Variable position. This role consists to 2 -12 hour shifts per week and could be scheduled for day, evening or night shift.  Shift differentials do apply.  The general salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $45.30 - $71.12. The actual hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to, the job/position responsibilities, location, terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement, education, training, work experience, seniority, work performance, etc.

Details of the position: Responsible for managing and coordinating: all aspects of incoming direct admissions and patient transfer requires at a 24-hour operation transfer center including bed management as well as outgoing transfers from Network facilities.

What you bring:

  • Current Washington RN licensure required by date of hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers required by date of hire.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in acute care or similar setting with a minimum 1 year in ED/Triage/Critical Care/Charge within the last 2 years.
  • Working knowledge of all federal, state, local and regulatory requirements (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
  • 1 year Call Center/Transfer Center experience preferred.
  • Charge or Lead RN experience preferred.
