Job Title: RN - Telephone Triage

Join Our Team as a Telephone Triage Nurse!

Are you a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a difference in the lives of orthopedic patients? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at our Orthopedic Institute in Sioux Falls, SD. We are currently seeking a skilled Telephone Triage RN to join our dynamic team and provide top-notch care to our patients. Clinic hours are 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday and 9am-2pm, Saturdays. This position will be 40 hours per week, 8am-5pm, Monday-Thursday and 8am-2pm, Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide Telephone Triage services to orthopedic patients
• Assess patient symptoms and provide appropriate medical advice using OI protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients on self-care and preventive measures
• Document patient interactions accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse for a minimum of 3 years, orthopedic background preferred
• South Dakota/Compact State RN license
• Minnesota RN nursing license (if none, must obtain immediately upon hire)
• CPR certification
• MUST possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate with patients, clinic staff, and physicians.
• MUST possess a positive attitude and be willing to go the extra mile to provide an extraordinary patient experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
