BJC's Central Staffing Office (CSO) is searching for a Staffing Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will assist in staffing all of our hospitals with our regional float pool staff, assist with onboarding, attend daily meetings and carry out various office responsibilities/system initiatives. To be successful, the Coordinator must conduct themselves in a professional manner, be a self-starter, motivated, highly organized, have attention to detail and competent with Microsoft office applications.
Staffing experience preferred.
Schedule:
Ability to work local remote
PRN
36 hrs within a 6 week period and (primarily weekends) per 6 weeks - 13-14 hour days. Nights
Available for 4 weeks M-F days orientation

Role Purpose
The RN Staffer is delegated the authority and responsibility for administrative supervision of staffing for the Central Staffing Office. The RN Staffer will facilitate balanced resources and sharing of staff across the HSOs. Collaborates closely with the BJC Transfer Center to ensure adequate staff to meet capacity demands. Acts as a liaison with HSO nursing offices.
Responsibilities
Facilitates the delivery of safe and appropriate staffing across the system. Effectively responds to special circumstances and acts as the on-site leader. Assists with patient care operations and integration of services between hospitals. Provides guidance for balancing schedules and proactively staffing open shifts. Assists with clinical development of CSO staff, including observing and coaching staff in performance of clinical duties and interpersonal interactions and monitoring staff and compliance in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Functions as a liaison between Administration, Transfer Center and all hospitals and customers. Ensures that the productivity and actions of the group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Makes sure staffing is to volume or designated workload and budgeted guidelines. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
