As a Senior Nurse Navigator at the Breast Care Center for Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you are an integral part of our healthcare team. You are dedicated to delivering comprehensive services and excel in providing high-quality compassionate care. Monday -Friday 7:30am-4:00pm - no nights, weekends, holidays, or call.
What you'll do:
- Evaluate work performance of all clinical staff
- Provide nursing care, education and support to women with breast cancer and breast health concerns in partnership with other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create systems of care that facilitate education, diagnosis, treatment and support for the patient, family, and the community.
- Effectively controls costs through economical utilization of personnel, materials and equipment.
- Responsible for organizing the interdisciplinary Breast Conference, which will focus on treatment, planning for newly and recurrent breast cancer patients and discussions of tumor stage and relevant nationally accepted breast cancer patient care guidelines.
- Develop and maintain educational resources on breast health, breast cancer and breast care, provide public and professional education and connect patients and families to resources and support services.
What you'll bring:
- Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Oncology Certification (OCN) certification preferred.
- National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC) Breast Patient Navigation Certificate or Breast Health Navigator Certification through EduCare required.
