Job Summary
We are seeking aRegistered Nurseto join our team. In this role, you will primarily be working in theNeonatalIntensiveCareUnit,a 25 bed Level III unit with a Neonatal Ground Transport Team. We focus on family-centered care. We have 5 Neonatologist on staff. We are looking for Healers who canencompass our Health System five carevalues:Integrity,Communications,Attitude,Results, andEngagement; or as we call:ICAREvalues.
ResponsibilitiesNICU RN essential functions include (but are not limited to):
Collaboration with other health professionals, assessment & analyzing assessment data
- Establishing goals, planning care strategy, establishing priorities of care, implementing care
- Delegating tasks safely, providing safe direct and indirect nursing care, evaluating responses to interventions
- Performing additional nursing functions in accordance with knowledge and skills acquired beyond basic nursing preparation.
- Performing pulse oximetry monitoring and computer skills.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of Oklahoma
- Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
- Valid drivers license Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
- Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
- Previous experience in healthcare field Preferred (If no work experience, will consider school attendance and performance records)
- BLS Required
- NICU experience REQUIRED
- NRP Required (within 6 months of hire if not current)
- STABLE Certification Preferred
- Perinatal Continuing Education Program (PCEP) Preferred
