- Performs client assessment utilizing the nursing process.
- Documents all nursing care provided according to policy.
- Formulates plan of care for clients.
- Obtains referrals for other physicians and specialists.
- Administers medications as prescribed by the provider.
- Follows approved protocols/standing orders for client care.
- Follows universal precautions.
- Performs treatments as prescribed by the physician/nurse practitioner including specialized procedures, such as venipuncture, catheterization, immunizations, fluoride varnish application and sterile dressing changes under established protocols.
- Completes patient health screenings including hearing, vision, and all CLIA waived testing.
- Performs technical skills.
- Responds to client/family/caregiver needs.
- Responds to crisis situations according to policy.
- Utilizes client education for emotional and physical health maintenance.

This also includes reporting to the Board of Directors, Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer, supervisor or suggestion box, any suspected unethical, fraudulent, or unlawful acts or practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- CPR – BLS (basic life support) required.
