Full-Time (RN) Registered Nurse or (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse Infection Control Preventionist
Responsibilities of a (RN) Registered Nurseor (LPN) Licensed Practical Nurse Infection Control Preventionist:
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice.
- Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
- Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
- Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator.
Qualifications of a (RN) Registered Nurseor (LPN) Licensed Practical NurseInfection Control Preventionist:
- Wound care/Infection Preventionist experience preferred.
- Experience preferred, not required.
License for a (RN) Registered Nurseor (LPN) Licensed Practical NurseInfection Control Preventionist:
- Must have an Active (RN) Registered Nurse License or (PN) Practical Nurse License in NJ.
