The RN supports our mission and values by providing compassionate and holistic nursing care for the residents in accordance with their individual plan of care and following established policies and procedures and accepted Standards of Practice.
What will I do as an RN?
- Develops and delivers the clinical care of each resident in collaboration with the Director of CBRF and/or the physician and utilizing the nursing process
- Supervises and supports care delivered by the nursing staff to assure quality of care is maintained
- Safely administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician
- Assist in the admission/readmission process as directed by the supervisor including observing and gathering of clinical data and development and implementation of the initial plan of care
- Provide coaching and re-education of staff as needed to improve/maintain quality of care. Includes audit of medication pass and controls
What is required in this position?
- Current and valid RN license in Wisconsin
- Current and valid CPR certification
- Experience in Assisted Living care preferred
- Knowledge of DHS 83, state and federal regulations as applied to long term care helpful
- Basic computer knowledge helpful
