Coordinates care and procedures with the healthcare team as a facilitator and mentor to cultivate a safe, efficient, and effective environment of care. The RN is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating patient care by coordinating, delegating, and supervising the care provided by the healthcare team.
Specifically, guides staff or provides direct patient care, including phone triage, complex case management, and evaluation of physician prescribed treatments. Provides risk factor modification, education and counseling in order to limit adverse physiologic and psychological effects of pulmonary illness, provides secondary prevention and enhances optimal wellness.
Minimum Qualifications: 1. Graduate of an Accredited School or College of Nursing. 2. Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse. 3. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification. One (1) year experience in pulmonary nursing or related area PREFERRED: Strong background in pulmonary medicine. 6. Clinical expertise, extensive knowledge and experience with the patient population served. 7. Strong interpersonal relationship skills. 8. Excellent communication and coaching skills. 9. Effective prioritization and organizational skills.
