We are seeking a RN for a PRN position in our Cardiac Recovery Unit. The shift is Saturday and Sunday shift only.

Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role: 

· Under general supervision, the RN staff nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures of Trident Health System.

· In collaboration with the patient, the patient’s family and other members of the health care team, the clinical RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and coordinates treatment plans.

· The Ambulatory Care RN prepares patients Cardiac catheterizations and EP procedures.

· Also prepares patients and assists in CPRU procedures.

· This position also performs Phase II and III recovery and prepares outpatients for discharge.

What qualifications you may need:

Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold and active Compact/Multi-State RN license

A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Heath Care Provider is required upon hire.

A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Heath Care Provider is required upon hire.
