Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement curriculum for nursing students in classroom and clinical settings
- Provide instruction and guidance to students in various nursing specialties, including acute care, senior care, critical care, and nursing administration
- Teach courses on medical terminology, patient care, care plans, and other relevant topics
- Create and administer assessments to evaluate student learning and progress
- Supervise and mentor students during clinical rotations and internships
- Stay up-to-date with current nursing practices and trends in higher education teaching
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students
- Ability to create a positive learning environment that promotes student success
- Proficiency in developing lesson plans and instructional materials
- Experience in supervising and evaluating student performance during clinical rotations
- Familiarity with medical terminology and its application in patient care
