RN outpatient clinic

Job - Registered Nurse Clinic

Department - Internal Medicine: Hospital Outpatient Department

Shift - 8hr Day Shift 0830 - 1700 M-F (40 hrs a week )

Duration - 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS

2 years of clinic RN experience

Patient Types:

• Adults only
• Internal Medicine – diabetes, HTN, kidney failure (with and without dialysis), mental health, chronic disease conditions
• Patients seen in the clinic in a day: 80-100 patients

Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS

Skills required:

• May assist with rooming patients but primarily will assist with in-basket management, telephone triage, medication refills, will assist with HTN clinic, blood draws
• IV skills preferred as there are a few iron infusions and NS fluid replacement

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: Ambulatory EPIC - preferred
• IV pumps: Alaris
• Medication dispensing: Pyxis

Floating: If yes, where?

Very rare, but possibility of floating to Aurora St. Luke’s Internal Medicine Clinic (10-15 minutes away). Would be notified in advance if they needed to float

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: No
• On call? No
• Holiday Expectations: No
• Shift times: 0830 – 1700. Will work late one Tuesday per month until 1800.
• Schedule cycle: Monday - Friday

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
