Job Description:
· Float Requirements: Med Surg/Tele units – will float throughout all in-patient areas. May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance.
· On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
· Weekend/Holiday Requirements: every other weekend/holiday required unless given time off approval
· Required Certifications to be Attached upon Submittal: KY/Compact RN License. AHA BLS/ACLS.
· Minimum Experience: 1 year in specialty. MUST have Level I or Level II Trauma experience.
· Charting Experience Required: Care View/EPIC (effective June 1) preferred, will train on-site
· Required Skillset: General Med/Tele. Must be able to read/interpret tele strips
· Unit Information (Bed size, beds, Patient ratio): 340 bed Level II Trauma Center. Patient ratio: 1:6. Beds: 15-45 beds depending on which unit you are on.
· Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates, reliable, team-player
· Scrub Colors: black
· COVID Vaccine Requirements: Covid Vaccine required unless medical/religious declination is applicable. If declination is accepted, weekly testing is required at the traveler/agency expense & verification.
