Job Details
Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse, your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Administering medications, monitoring patient recovery and progress, and educating patients and their families about disease prevention and post-hospital treatment.
2. Developing and directing a team of nursing staff to ensure patient care is being provided in accordance with established nursing standards.
3. Responding quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
4. Participating in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
5. Providing emotional and psychological support when needed to patients and their families.
6. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments.
7. Participating in research activities related to nursing.
8. Conducting risk assessment on patients, and using judgement to take appropriate action.
9. Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
10. Keeping records of patients' health condition and treatment, and maintaining accurate and complete patient records.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
2. A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
4. Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.
5. Proficiency in emergency response and patient assessment.
6. Ability to handle a high-stress environment and to make decisions in emergency situations.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, leadership skills, and team management abilities.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and work within deadlines.
10. A compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a commitment to healthcare excellence.
