RN Med/Surg

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in a medical/surgical setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques
- Assist with procedures such as dermal fillers, spinal taps, and phlebotomy
- Perform triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical office procedures and protocols
- Proficient in performing various nursing procedures such as wound care, ostomy care, and inhalation therapy
- Ability to provide care for patients across the lifespan, including toddlers and older adults
- Skilled in phlebotomy and IV therapy administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of assisted living regulations and best practices

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Salary: Up to $2,800.00 per week
