3 MONTH CONTRACT

Summary

Department: Float Staffing

Shift Timing: 19:00 - 07:30 Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours)

Per Week: 36 Hours

Roles & Responsibilities

• ​Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2yrs required experience in specialty areas.
• Med surg areas, 2S, 4N, 4S, Rehab, and tele areas, 2 South Telemetry, 3 South CVC, 2 North Observation/CRDC.
• BLS required, ACLS preferred.
• This is a float assignment with daily staffing adjustments every 4 hrs, with potential to be pulled to a new assignment in 4hr blocks of time. Will need basic dysrhythmia testing competency.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.​​​
