JOB SUMMARY

This position assists the School Based Clinic Director (SBC) in planning and assuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care services by the clinical support staff reporting to the SBC Director. This position coordinates scheduling and training of clinical support staff, including onboarding new hires. The position monitors staff workflow and reports on staff performance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will assist the department/program manager to train staff, coordinate & monitor work assignments, address routine workflow questions, create and approve schedules, and monitor staff progress.

JOB REQUIREMENTS and QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) and 3 years’ experience as a Nurse in the specified program area (e.g. pediatrics, adult medicine, etc.) ; Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) and 5 years related program-specific nursing experience. Current active Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Kentucky Board of Nursing required.

Experience coordinating one or more of the following: department workflows, clinical/office projects, department teams and/or group assignments.
