Rn Infusion Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse specializing in Infusion to join our team. As an Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for administering medications and treatments to patients through intravenous (IV) lines. Your expertise in infusion therapy will play a crucial role in providing quality care and ensuring positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Administering medications and treatments via IV infusion
- Monitoring patients' vital signs and assessing their response to treatments
- Educating patients and their families on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care techniques
- Maintaining accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic technique during all procedures
- Providing emotional support and reassurance to patients undergoing infusion therapy

Skills:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma
- Strong nursing skills with experience with electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of basic life support (BLS) techniques
- Minimum of 1 year of experience preferably in an infusion care setting
- Strong knowledge of infusion therapy principles and practices
- Ability to maintain a sterile environment using aseptic technique during all procedures
- Excellent assessment skills for monitoring vital signs and identifying potential complications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
