Rn, Homecare Nurse For Young Female Urgently Hiring

IMMEDIATE OPENING: Pottstown, Mon-Fri 6:45a - 7p, or 7a-7p. You can work 1, 2 or 3 (12) hour shifts/week.

The client is a young adult who needs ongoing assistance with all ADL's. She has a smile that brightens the room and has no behavioral issues. She is able to ambulate with the use of a gait belt. She loves music and looking through pictures of family and friends. The nurse must perform careful neuro assessments, as this client has a seizure disorder. There are 2 friendly dogs in the home, no smoking.

Essential Functions:

• Follow the nursing process in all areas of patient care.
• Fall seizure and aspiration precautions.
• Uses established seizure protocols for seizure management as written by the neurologists.
• Accurately documents assessments, treatments, and interventions.
• Notifies the family and management of any concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid, active Pennsylvania RN License
• Current CPR (or be willing to take a class)
• 1+ year experience post-graduation strongly preferred
• Seizure management experience helpful.
