Compass Healthcare Consulting & Placement is conducting a search for a Home Health Aide - Registered Nurse, RN, for our Client, a large Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) located in Mount Vernon, NY. This is a Direct Hire, Full Time position.

RN - Home Health Aide Instructor - Registered Nurse

Overview:

The Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA) provides advanced clinical services and emotional support to patients. With a comprehensive range of services supported by an integrated health system, the staff is ready to assist in all areas of Home Health care services.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager of Staff Development, this RN position will conduct orientation and ongoing education for clinical staff hired for our Licensed Home Care Services Agency (LHCSA). Education may include the overall processes related to a field visit, aspects of care in the home setting, documentation and navigation of the electronic record, clearance of nurses in the field and clinical topics commonly seen in the Home Health setting. You will be expected to periodically work all or part of a weekend.

Qualifications:

Valid NYS RN license, Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required, Masters in Education, Nursing or related field preferred. Three years of progressive job related experience, including field visits and coordination of care. Oasis certification preferred. Computer skills required.
