Form of workThe RN Healthy Beginnings is a professional caregiver who is a member of the interdisciplinary team and is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing services to women and their families eligible for the Nurse-Family Partnership Program(NFP). Nurse home visitors are responsible for maintaining the highest standards in clinical nursing practice and adherence to the NFP model, and to policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards of NFP and of the Carle Health System. Additional responsibilities include the coordination and provision of direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process to meet the physical, psychosocial, environmental, and spiritual needs of Healthy Beginnings specific patient populations and families throughout the geographical area.
