Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years' experience current required in med/surg unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.
CERTS: BLS certification required. BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Basic cardiac arrhythmia experience required.
SHIFTS: 12 hour NIGHTS - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5 if needed.
ORIENTATION: 1st first week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required and not provided by the facility. White scrub top. Scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, hunter green or black.
