Nurse Aide Education Program Instructor - RN
Heritage Hall is currently recruiting for a Nurse Aide Education Program Instructor-RN. The Nurse Aide Education Program Instructor is responsible for conducting education programs at multiple Heritage Hall facilities. They must assess needs, plan, implement, and direct the appropriate types of education programs necessary to meet the needs of the staff.
Qualifications:
- Must have an ASN or BSN degree from an accredited college.
- Must have active RN license in the State of Virginia.
- Must be certified by the State of Virginia to conduct CNA training classes.
- Experience in long-term care preferred.
- Teaching/Education experience preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the CNA program.
- Revise the CNA program periodically as outlined by the Virginia Board of Nursing guidelines.
- Keep the Virginia Board of Nursing informed of current CNA programs as well as any changes in these programs.
- Track and report all cost reporting information including, but not limited to, hours, wages, training materials, roster/attendance, and classroom materials.
- Attend seminars and read professional journals to remain current on new developments.

If documentation is not received, the facility Human Resources will advise the applicant they are not cleared for hire and may result in rescinding offer of employment.
