Form of workM Health Fairview has an immediate opening for an RN to join our team in the Flex Workforce. This position will cover multiple Primary Care Clinics including Wyoming Clinic, Wyoming ADS, Chisago Clinic, North Branch Clinic, and the Hugo Clinic.
Flex workforce employees regularly travel to multiple clinics to fill open shifts and “regular” travel is defined as the expectation to be available to travel 100% at any time to different locations based on the business needs. The length of the assignment at a location will vary based on need (i.e. 1 day for ill call or an extended period of time), which includes the expectation to travel to more than one clinic during the day at a moment’s notice. The nature of travel expectations (100%) and schedule expectations (unpredictable) provide a clear distinction between Flex Workforce employees and the expectations for travel (none or occasionally) and schedules (predictable) for other employees.
This Flex Workforce position will cover the M Health Fairview Wyoming Lakes, Hugo, North Branch, and Chisago clinic locations.
Flex Workforce employees receive a pay incentive in addition to the hourly rate of pay.
This is a 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two week pay period) opening on the day shift. Clinic hours are Monday - Thursday 7AM to 6PM and Fridays 7AM to 5PM.
The tentative schedule for this opening is: Every non pay week Monday Wyoming shift, remaining shifts rotate between Wyoming, Hugo, North Branch and Chisago Clinics.

Responsibilities Job Description
The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and providing professional care for patients in an ambulatory setting. While following established standards and protocols, the RN delivers care that is unique to all ages served by the clinic. The RN provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established nursing standards and practices. As a member of the patients care team, the RN supports quality patient and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the team and patients. The nurse will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions, maintain complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
- Provides care according to the plan, in accordance with all policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines, Involves the patient, their support network, and other health care team members in assembling data
- Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable
- Coordinates nursing care with all other health team members
- Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing conditions
- Prioritizes work based on acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient preferences, in conjunction with the provider
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Current Minnesota RN License
- One year of previous healthcare experience in ambulatory care settings
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Willingness to work at various sites is encouraged
- Excellent customer service, public relations and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work with a fluctuation in workload while working independently
- Ability to adapt to change and engage in ongoing process improvement
- Flexibility to work at other sites is encouraged
