Job Duties for RN Cath lab:
- Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures.
- Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion and skilled communication, leads efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Minimum experience: 2 years
First time traveler: Upon review
Beds: 2 Labs, 3 pre and 3 post recovery bays
Patient Types: Cardiovascular, radiology, EP
Mandatory skills: Procedural sedation, Cath lab experience, critical care experience and IR experience preferred.
RN to patient ratio: 1:3 (pre/post areas)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
License: IL RN
Charting/Equipment: EPIC, MERGE, Phillips equipment
Scrub Color: Procedural
