Rn Cath Lab

PAY:

• Pay package will be $3200 weekly including stipend (for travelers).
• $75/hr on W2 (for local).

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Position - RN Cath Lab
• Location - Ithaca, NY 14850

JOB DETAILS:

• Full Time - 13 weeks contract
• Shift - Variable (Days/eves (4 10’s or 5 8’s, with STEMI call) // 40 hours
• Work Location - On Location
• Ability to commute/relocate: Ithaca, NY 14850 : Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred).

RESPONSIBILITIES: -

Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and evaluations for patients undergoing catheterization lab procedures - Assist with the insertion and removal of catheters and other medical devices - Monitor patients' vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures - Administer medications as prescribed by physicians - Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans - Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information and medical records - Provide patient education regarding procedures, medications, and post-procedure care Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Catheterization Lab setting - Proficiency in using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems - Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures related to catheterization lab operations - Experience with suturing and wound care - Familiarity with medical documentation and case management processes - Understanding of occupational health and physical examination requirements - Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) - Familiarity with coding and billing practices in a healthcare setting - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
