Description:
The Northampton Public Schools seeks a dynamic, innovative and experienced Elementary School Principal who is a visionary and action-oriented leader to begin July 1, 2024. Our future principal embraces the districts core educational values and will create a vision for our high school aligned with the Districts strategic plan. The right candidate will be committed to issues of diversity and equity, have a high degree of autonomy and trust within the school, can manage, supervise and work alongside staff, and will collaborate with educators, students, administrators and community members to cultivate lifelong learning in all of our students ensuring success. The RK Finn Ryan Road Elementary School serves approximately 240 students in grades K through 5.

The principal will: Promote positive techniques to promote prosocial student behavior. Help all school community members to understand and appreciate the perspectives of others.Model and lead anti-bias and anti-bullying education at the school level.Leadership practices are anticipated to be inclusive, creative, engage all students, and support differentiated instruction.Minimum QualificationsCurrent MA DESE license certification PreK-8 as an elementary principal.
