We are excited to hire a Dining Room Supervisor to join our team! Our menus are ever-changing, and we’re ready to train folks who are looking for a chance to make a difference! This is an ideal position for shift leaders & supervisors in dining services who are looking to take the next step in their culinary journey!
Our Dining Room Supervisors:
- Plan floor map, assign sections, and keep reservation book updated.
- Perform advanced entries for Point of Sale system, including Resident history, point transfers, refunds, etc.
- Ensure proper completion of opening and closing duties.
- Assist with training of new Dining Room personnel.
- Assist with hiring of new Dining Room personnel
- Promote the Vision, Values, and Mission of The Rivers in all areas of responsibility;
- Respond to catering requests and relay information to kitchen and Director of Dining Services.
- Performs other duties as assigned or may be necessary.
What you need to succeed:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in a restaurant, supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with point of sale (POS) systems.
- Experience in senior living preferred, but not required.
