The Role:


We are looking for a full-time Partnerships Representative to close opportunities in a business category that is dynamic and inspiring. You’ll work closely with sales and marketing to ensure messaging and solution alignment; you’ll also work closely with our research and operations team to deliver a unique value proposition. This is an opportunity to join an established and fast-growing technology company in an exciting new Go-To-Market approach.


The Partnerships Representative role is an individual contributor and full sales cycle role that is responsible for developing existing opportunities and leading the successful capture of business comprised of packaged SaaS platform deployments with recurring revenue tails. The role will require a mix of in person and virtual meetings as dictated by each unique opportunity.


Responsibilities:

  • Developing, maintaining, and executing Account Plans and creative strategies to expedite new partnerships for all accounts within assigned territory.
  • Engaging target agencies through multiple levels and entry points across the organization
  • Leading demonstrations of a SaaS platform for users and decision makers
  • Meeting in person with Chiefs and other relevant stakeholders to assist in evaluation processes
  • Closing new partnerships and adding additional agencies to the Benchmark platform
  • Working collaboratively with various teams within Benchmark Analytics in the development of various strategies, markets, offerings, and initiatives
  • Consistent documentation of activities and opportunities via Salesforce

Job Qualifications:

  • This is a remote role. Ideal candidate will be based in California.
  • Successful experience in selling software and solutions to government entities is a plus.
  • Law enforcement, public safety, or public sector experience is a plus.
  • High energy, with a positive “Can Do” attitude, comfortable with fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.
  • Must be a proactive, resourceful self-starter, able to take initiative and be accountable for results.
  • A strong ethical foundation, capable of thriving in an environment and culture where honesty, integrity, and accountability are core values.
  • Strong and versatile problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
