Job Summary
Administers organization-wide risk management activities and supports patient safety programs. Manages a hospital-wide risk management program that includes a system for identifying, evaluating, and handling of risk exposures for both medical malpractice and general liability. The Risk Manager maintains systems within the organization to detect, monitor, prevent, organize, measure, investigate, report, and manage patient adverse events, malpractice claims, incident reports, and other indicators of potential patient harm. Ensures adherence to regulations and standards; and implements policies and procedures necessary to support risk-related processes.
