Risk Management Analyst
Job Summary:
The Risk Management Analyst position is responsible for supporting the functions of the Risk Management team through the implementation of vehicle technology products, analyzing technical data, assisting clients with service calls, preparing reports related to usage risk exposure. This position is also responsible for assisting with building and maintaining of technology tools and services to assist external customers with the evaluation of vehicle usage data, technology user applications, and improvement of risk exposure.

Education/Training Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience/Specialized Skills: Minimum of 3 years' experience in trucking OR 1 year experience in the insurance industry, risk control management, and/or technology environment preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
Special Considerations
Physical Requirements:Constant use of vision, hearing, and communication (oral and written in person and via telephone). Frequent concentration, standing, walking, handling, reaching, and grasping. Occasional bending, kneeling and lifting (up to 25 lbs.). Heavy use of computer and office equipment.
Additional Requirements:Occasional travel may be required. Periodic work outside of standard business hours or on weekends may be required.

Risk Management Analyst
Job Summary:
The Risk Management Analyst position is responsible for supporting the functions of the Risk Management team through the implementation of vehicle technology products, analyzing technical data, assisting clients with service calls, preparing reports related to usage risk exposure. This position is also responsible for assisting with building and maintaining of technology tools and services to assist external customers with the evaluation of vehicle usage data, technology user applications, and improvement of risk exposure.
Major Accountabilities:
- Coordinate, provide technical problem-solving support, performance management and participate in the implementation of the Canal Test Drive Program.
- Responsible for making outbound call to commercial truck customers to evaluate and engage in Risk Management dialogue pertaining to exposures and recommendations of risk analysis.
- Provide risk improvement advisement to commercial customers to positively impact the customer's loss ratio and deliver value that influences the insurance buying decision.
- Evaluate existing and prospective customers through viewing the hazards and controls for adequate risk selection, pricing, and application of underwriting techniques leading to profitable growth.
- Assemble and analyze data related to a risk, including but not limited to vehicle usage data, loss review, safety alerts and any other data related to the technology product platforms.
- Coordinate with appropriate business units to ensure proper communication is being provided in terms of the functioning as well as the continuous development of the RMS Team.
- Innovate creative actions to further develop customer engagement.
- All other duties as assigned by Management.
