Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking an experienced professional to manage and lead the Engineering Team on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) line of business. The selected candidate will be the Logistics and Sustainment Engineering (LSE) and Engineering & Technology Manager (ETM) for the Remote Interceptor Guidance (RIG-360) development program ensuring the needs of new and existing customer requirements are clearly identified, communicated and successfully executed. In addition, they will serve as the conduit for functional communications and performance reviews for LSE personnel.
The Logistics and Sustainment Engineering Lead's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Management duties include oversight, supervision, and performance evaluations of assigned employees engaged in full spectrum sustainment operations. The selected candidate will stay current on meeting activity delegated to subordinates and provide appropriate flow-down of information to applicable staff. Individual will be responsible for the successful execution of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the program and ensure total Enterprise compliance.
Candidate must possess a complete understanding and application of business principals, concepts, practices, and standards; work with DOD systems and understand DOD cataloging process and DOD logistics terminology.
Occasional travel may be required, typically to Huntsville, AL to support meetings, but occasionally to White Sands Missile Range to support various events on tactical equipment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate to all levels of management and customer organization.
• Experience creating internal and external executive-level functional and program presentations, ensuring messages are communicated accurately, concisely and consistently.
• Proposal development experience; Basis of Estimate (BOE), Statements of Work (SOWs), Deliverables. Experience in contractual terms and conditions.
• Experience with logistics, maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers.
• Experience with repair concepts; maintenance tasks for field repairable items and depot repairable items.
• Development of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies, support execution of trade studies, validations, verifications, demonstrations and cost analysis associated with varying support options, and recommendation of system support strategies over the entire life cycle.
• Working knowledge of the tool used to document the design and maintenance actions, SLICwave, as well as MIL-STD-1388-2B and GEIA-STD-0007.
• Experience with provisioning efforts, provisioning conferences and coordination meetings.
• Experience with development of logistics analyses, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) in accordance with MIL-HDBK-1390 and Life Cycle Cost Modeling.
• Knowledgeable of System Safety and Software Safety efforts and testing and verification in compliance with MIL-STD-882 or equivalent. Support system safety and software safety analysis, associated tasking and coordination activities. Knowledge of Safety Engineering design practices.
• Working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E, AMCOMR 385-17, and MIL-STD-1472 and applying this knowledge to Hazard Analysis
• Experience in Hazard Identification and Mitigation efforts using the following System Safety Methodologies: Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA), Subsystem Hazard Analysis, Health Hazard Analysis, Functional hazard Analysis, Basic Fault Tree Analysis and Environmental Hazard Analysis
• Familiar with Software Safety including Software Criticality Assessments and Level of Rigor (LOR) assessments
• Support IPT meetings, review Engineering changes and support Concept Screening Board and Configuration Control Board, as well as supporting Functional Configuration Audits by providing substantiating evidence to prove that requirements are met on new and modified designs.
• Knowledgeable of Reliability Engineering efforts and testing, reliability predictions and methodologies, Failure Mode and Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Failure Reporting, Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), reliability qualification testing, diagnostics development, maintainability, and BIT demonstrations.
• Present program status at IPT meetings, design reviews and program reviews.
Desired skills
• Experience in systems full lifecycle management across multiple Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines.
• Knowledge and Experience in design, implementation, and delivery of sustainment solutions.
• Ability to work multiple projects and issues simultaneously from inception to completion.
• Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers).
• Experience with IAMD products, PAC-3 Missile and Ground Systems, and sustainment of those products specifically.
• Experience with depot operations sustainment principles and sustainment tools.
• Control Account Management (CAM 101) trained and Earned Value Management experience.
• Risk and Opportunity experience.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Strong business acumen.
• Experience defining strategy.
• Strong process discipline with focus on efficiency and optimization.

Ability to work remotely
Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $100,400 - $192,500. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
