Ride Attendant- (Keller's Flea Market)

Keller’s Flea Market is seeking PART-TIME customer friendly & dedicated team players to join our Ride Attendant Team just in time for the holiday season! This is a part-time, weekend position (Saturday and Sunday, 9:30am to 4:30pm). We are motivated to hire immediately - Apply Now!

Duties:

• Collect tickets for rides
• Ensure appropriate number of people on rides at all times
• Ensure children are the appropriate height and age for rides
• Board passengers onto ride Safely
• Explain safety procedures to riders
• Point out evacuation routes
• Operate equipment that starts and shuts down ride
• Pull down safety bars, buckle seat belts, or secure harnesses
• Inspect equipment to detect wear and tear
• Stop vehicle and de-board passengers in case of emergencies
• Provide assistance to riders entering and exiting ride
• Shut down ride if major repairs are needed
• Clean up debris around ride
• Keep an eye on riders and their movements to ensure they are not in any danger
• Enforce all safety regulations and stay current with safety rules and procedures
• Performs other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

• Exceptional Customer Service
• Ticket handling experience
• Responsible attitude
• Must be able to work Full weekends
• Safety mindset
• Alert personality
• Able to effectively and pleasantly enforce ride requirements
• Physically able to lift 55lbs to assist children in and out of rides
• Standing position; will be on feet all shift
• Position is physically demanding and outdoors
