Job description

This position provides a unique opportunity to join a dynamic, evolving, and fast paced team. This role will directly report to the Head of RFP Team and gain exposure to the process behind sourcing and maintaining new and existing business, globally. This individual will have the opportunity to be mentored and manage multiple RFP’s (Request for Proposals) and DDQ’s (Due Diligence Questionnaires) for prospective and existing clients. The individual to assume this role will act as a liaison between colleagues around the world (Americas, Europe, etc.).

 

The RFP Specialist position is in Guggenheim’s New York City offices.


  • Assist in production of high-quality RFPs and DDQs in coordination with sales and client service personnel
  • Work with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to proactively develop and maintain high quality content used in RFPs [& DDQs] and various consultant databases
  • Support the content management lifecycle by working with subject matter experts to plan, create, manage, deliver, socialize, audit, archive, and track content Write, edit, and proofread new content in accordance with internal procedures, standards, brand and proposal guides, [ensuring the firm’s messaging is reflected]
  • Leveraging internal systems and resources, ensure content is compliance-approved
  • Monitor content for consistency, organization, searchability and relevance
  • Continually measure, monitor, and improve content delivery strategies; employing industry best practices and identifying opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency
  • Work with RFP team members to create bespoke content as needed
  • Compose and edit materials for the RFP team in a timely manner as needed
  • Assist with proposal activities as needed
  • Work with content management system (i.e., Rocket Docs) personnel to learn about systems improvements that would help the RFP team be more efficient.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement where the RFP team can add additional value for the marketing/sales cycle.

  • Able to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive, high-pressure environment.
  • SQL understanding preferred.
  • Desire to learn and become a strong individual and team contributor with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Business, Economics, or similar major
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Word
  • 2 plus years completing RFPs and DDQs experience
  • Strong understanding of fixed income, equities, and alternatives with a focus on Core Fixed Income; High Yield, Bank Loan, and Structured Credit desirable
  • Experience in asset management
  • Ability to curate accurate content
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across the firm
  • Ability to master our content management system and train RFP team members on improvements and updates

Annual base salary between $95,000 and $105,000.


The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. Actual base salaries may vary depending on factors such as location and experience. The range listed reflects base salary only, and the total compensation package may include other components such as incentive compensation.
