Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Reports to: Operations Manager
Pay Class: Full-time Pay Type: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to assigned employees by training and mentoring while providing advice with regards to achieving production goals.
• Oversee production process, procedures, and personnel to ensure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
• Provide hands on knowledge and task management to assigned employees while exhibiting experienced leadership skills during daily operations.
• Meet or exceed key performance metrics and/or productivity goals.
• Implement procedures, processes and systems to maximize production efficiencies.
• Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to assigned employees.
• Communicate any problems or obstacles to Department Manager.
• Provide motivation, support, and guidance to assigned employees.
• Interviewing, hiring, and training hourly employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.

Job Specification

• High School or general education degree (GED). Associates/ BA degree in supply chain, logistics or relative field highly preferred.
• Demonstrated work experience in production supervision.
• Demonstrated work experience in driving continuous improvement process.
• Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety.
• Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well as a group.
• Proficient in WMS systems and RF Scan Gun.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA requirements/regulations.
• Knowledgeable of MS office applications to include Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
