The Corporate Revenue Analyst works with the Corporate Directors of Revenue Management (CDROM) to maximize total hotel room revenue by providing daily and weekly reporting, strategic analysis and offering support to the CDORM in making the optimal revenue decisions!

What you will be doing
- Prepare and distribute daily reports as necessary for assigned hotels
- Monitor daily flash reports and make recommendations and provide support to the Corporate Directors of Revenue Management as necessary
- Import/merge/assemble all necessary documents for weekly revenue meetings for assigned hotels
- Build and maintain analytical tools to support hotel revenue optimization, forecasting, and budgeting processes
- Identifying and reporting revenue opportunities with sufficient lead-time to positively impact revenues
- Effectively manages time and processes to ensure attention to detail while achieving deadlines in workflows
- Maintains demand-generating calendars – holidays, special events, citywide, etc.
- Conduct audits to ensure all rate plans and segmentation tracking are set up properly and the inventory controls are set as predetermined by CDORM.
- Ensures all Revenue Management data files are organized and maintained.
- Ensures actual room revenue statistics for assigned hotels are accurate in Profit Sage, Smith Travel reports and brand systems
The ideal candidate for this position
- High School Diploma required. College degree in hospitality or business administration or related field preferred.
- Marriott experience preferred
- Strong analytical skills required and ability to apply those skills to identify revenue opportunities and shortfalls.
- Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
- Ability to visualize data in the most effective way possible for a given project or study
- Ability to solve problems creatively using mathematics
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with data management tools
- Strong excel background preferred
