Exabeam is looking for a highly motivated and talented individual to join the Finance Team at its headquarters in Foster City, CA. The Revenue Analyst is a highly visible role that will play a key role during customer contract negotiations, deal structuring and execution. This person will be heavily involved in the quote-to-cash (QTC) cycle and will partner with cross-functional business partners to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator and a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments.
Requirements:
- Review contracts and execute revenue allocations in accordance with US GAAP.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our QTC policies and processes across business lines to advise on escalations and provide solutions.
- Perform month-end close tasks associated with revenue recognition, including the review of deferred revenue reconciliations, validating deferred revenue, and the posting of monthly revenue journal entries, as required.
- Coordinate the preparation of schedules and reports in support of internal management and external audit ensuring that all revenue deliverables are met.
- Identify, develop, and implement projects that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and perform additional responsibilities, as necessary.
- Perform relevant internal controls in the Company's revenue recognition process.
- Preparation of Unbilled, SaaS, and Professional Services revenue balance sheet reconciliations
- Continually revise procedures when needed to enable up-to-date, consistent processes.
- Lead and assist with other projects as needed; drive projects to completion, as required.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in technology industry in a revenue specific role (with a combination of Big-4 and industry experience preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak periods
Nice to Haves:
- CPA (active or inactive) preferred
- Contract review and technical revenue recognition experience
- Knowledge of relevant revenue accounting guidance under ASC 606 and applying to transactions for on-premise software, SaaS, hardware and professional services, including multi-element arrangements
- Ability to interact effectively with sales and product teams, functional peer groups and subordinates and to gain cooperation from others, especially those in other departments, as well as with outside auditors and outside legal counsel
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of multiple concurrent and diversified tasks, while working with deadlines
- Problem solver: The candidate should be an excellent, analytical problem solver with a common sense and practical solutions orientation
- Intermediate-Advanced skills in Excel, Salesforce, NetSuite, Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)

Base Pay Range:
$70,000 - $95,500
- Range is reflective of base pay only
- Does not include variable pay
- Base pay is dependent on experience and may vary based on geography
