Job Description: Verify and inspect all forms, reports, and records relating to product returns. Inspect and reconcile quantities returned with that of the returns forms and documents via pc. Ensure customer satisfaction through the handling of product returns and refunds.
- Unpack returned merchandise, inspect package condition and assess paperwork sent in with return instructions for proper return procedures.
- Inspect returned merchandise, checking for quality and condition of the product to determine return category.
- Receive merchandise, following all security and safety return procedures for each product type.
- Distribute returned items to their proper location considering all factors including the value of the product, its condition, and type of return.
- Input clear customer account notes in internal computer systems, communicating return reasons, customer feedback and instructions to ensure accurate processing.
- Identify critical distribution issues and report them to the team lead/supervisor.
- Data entry as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
- Other tasks as required to meet team goals
- Verify customer returns with the RMA and records any discrepancy
- Returns stock to inventory
- Researches shipment shortages
- Resolve customer complaints
- Coordinate with vendors for warranty RGAs and ship product out for credit and/or replacement
- Assist in managing returns department inventory with minimal inventory loss and timely vendor returns
- Any other duties assigned by management
- Workday is a standard 8 hours, or until returns are completed, this time is spent in a warehouse setting.
- The position involves a significant amount of physical labor, requiring long hours of lifting, standing, sitting and movement around the warehouse.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Dependable and reliable.
- Physically able to lift 60lbs and possibly more.
- Physically able to stand for long periods of time.
- Regularly required to use hand and arms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, good communicator, and team player
- Prior Warehouse experience.
- RF knowledge.
- Basic computer knowledge
