North Coast Medical
is looking for a Retention and Prospecting Specialist. This position will report to the Director of Sales Administration. See more details below!

Position Summary Overview: Responsible for customer retention and telephone prospecting activities including maintaining and updating CRM & ERP databases. Also supports sales and customer service departments.

Hours: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Rate: $32-$34/hr


Essential Functions and Position Responsibilities:

Customer Retention and Prospecting

  • Retain and grow HOUSE and assigned key accounts in collaboration with sales representatives who maintain influence with these accounts when appropriate
  • Conduct internet research activities for proper customer set-up and data collection
  • Determine annual opportunities and organizational headcount, identify key contacts
  • Update existing customer data when necessary to ensure current and accurate data
  • Conduct welcome calls to introduce the company, thank customers and give them information to use services and make contact in the future


Database Management

  • Assure proper activity documentation in the CRM database
  • Perform account maintenance in the ERP software system
  • Assist with tradeshow leads by documenting in CRM
  • Conduct research and manager special projects as necessary
  • Participate in regular communications with management
  • Effectively manage CRM customer database following policy and guidelines


Position Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of related customer service/sales administration experience
  • Strong writing & verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible

-Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter and self-learner with the ability to function independently without close management
  • High energy, determination, detail-oriented and a positive attitude
  • Able to understand company services model & relate them to the specific needs of each customer


Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • This position is remote
  • Work involves sedentary to light work in a home office setting. There is frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, sit, lift light objects (up to 10 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the workday
  • Frequent speaking, listening, using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or more and extended periods of time working at a computer
  • High speed internet connection with full video conferencing capacity and bandwidth for VPN access
