Excel Orthodontics is an orthodontics laboratory. We have been providing services to doctors in the dental and orthodontics field throughout the US since 1990.

We specialize in creating Orthodontic Appliances, such as invisible and acrylic retainers, splints, and mouthpieces, to name a few.

We successfully fulfill thousands of doctors’ orders annually, accomplished through our skilled technicians with over 100 years of combined experience, along with modern equipment and state-of-the-art technology.

What Next

We are currently reviewing resumes for a Wire Bender/Retainer Technician. As a Wire Bender/Retainer Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the fabrication process in the creation of Orthodontic Appliances.   • Upon receipt of models and prescriptions, using DLCPM, review prescriptions and doctor preferences.
  • Successfully read and interpret doctor preferences and written preference specifications onto models.
  • Using pliers and appropriate hand tools, bend wires according to doctor preferences.
  • Responsible for the successful installation of wires onto molds per doctor’s preferences and prescription details, also mounting molds when applicable.
  • Upon successful completion of wire installation, forward to QC for final approval.
  • Responsible for making required adjustments as needed for successful order completion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions taken from job orders and doctor preferences.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Schedule and Work Hours

  • Monday through Friday with a start time of 7:00 AM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
