Battery Outfitters Inc relies on the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse and retail associates. From our warehouses to our sales team, we depend on the focus and strength of these friendly professionals. We are currently seeking a warehouse associate to add to our growing Jonesboro, AR team. As a Warehouse associate you will process deliveries, prepare and complete orders and ensure all internal warehouse procedures are adhered to while maintaining quality standards and providing excellent customer service on the shop floor. You will also be tasked with small battery installation, and being able to multi-task. Additionally, you may be responsible for day to day delivery sales, collection of cores, and inventory of customer’s batteries. Candidates must have a valid drivers license. Our ideal candidates are exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track and manage multiple duties. By utilizing your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you'll help us prepare and sell our excellent products to our customer.

Responsibilities:

• Follow company packing procedures and standards
• Handle inventory with care and attention to detail
• Adhere to safety programs and compliance for a safe work environment
• Follow company safety policies and procedures, and encourage other associates to do the same
• Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully
• Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment
• Maintain updated knowledge on current products, pricing, and promotions
• Follow through on an exceptional customer experience by presenting customers with product promotions and sale opportunities as identified through conversation
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Previous experience in a similar position
• Good organizational skills

• Knowledge of the retail sales process and inventory procedures
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Flexible and willing take on a variety of tasks
