White Pines Lodge, located in Mt. Morris, Illinois, is a destination rich in tradition, delicious food and friendly faces. We operate a historic log lodge restaurant, dinner theatre, gift shop and rent cozy cabins nestled in the beautiful White Pines Forest State Park.

- Greet customers, answer phones and provide friendly customer service
- Use computerized point of sale and reservation system
- Achieve and maintain knowledge of cabins, dinner theatre, events and retail space to assist customers
- Take reservations over the phone for cabins, dinner theatre and events
- Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point of sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards and making change
- Restock and maintain retail displays
- Participate in closing, opening procedures
- Participate in daily cleaning duties of retail/desk space
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform well under pressure
- Basic computer knowledge
- Able to lift frequently up to 25 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs. Position also involves frequent bending, twisting, lifting and squatting and up to 8 hours per day on feet in a fast paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience: Demonstrated ability to handle general math
- Minimum 1 year retail sales experience preferred
