Gratitudes is a small, family run, female owned retail Furniture/Home Decor store lucky enough to be located in the heart of Historic Downtown Truckee. We specialize in unique gifts, home décor, wonderful custom furniture and interior design by our owners, Julie & Sue.
We are looking for someone who would benefit from a consistent part-time position with an option of health benefits. Health benefits are offered with employer (Gratitudes) offering a partial payment towards health benefits. Hourly compensation is based on a specific skill-set as it pertains to Gratitudes' needs, PLUS commission on furniture sales.
Experience in furniture sales is not necessary, but an interest in home décor is a must! You will be trained on "all things furniture" in our eclectic boutique.
The perfect candidate must be able to:
- Be on their feet for the duration of their 7-8 hour shift
- Unpack merchandise & lift items overhead
- Take care of light cleaning, vacuuming & dusting
- Be available on the weekends **We are thoughtful about working around each person's reasonable family needs** Shifts could be scheduled any day of the week as we are open 7 days a week.
- Have a valid driver's license and one's own vehicle to travel to and from work
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Show exceptional customer service to our loyal & new customers
