Retail Store Manager Position

TOUS is looking for a Store Manager for our Pembroke Lakes Mall location. The primary duties of a Store Manager at TOUS are to manage the sales team and provide support to General Managers in the main areas of the business, operations, and sales.
The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth.
Requirements:
The ideal Store Manager will:

• Acquire strong product knowledge of the TOUS product lines and transfer their knowledge to associates and new employees.
• Provide focus and direction for the sales team with sales coaching and enforcement of store rules and daily tasks to be performed
• Ensure sales goals provided by Management are achieved every month and provide support for associates to get to their sales goals as well.
• Advise and assist customers with their purchases to become the top sales performer in the store monthly.
• Ensure store staff provides the highest level of customer service. This includes answering questions and assisting with product selection, returns, and repairs.
• Make sure sales associates are fully trained, knowledgeable and competent in selling all TOUS products and following procedures.
• Help ensure the store is clean, well organized, and properly merchandised.
• Make sure all store policies, procedures, and controls are followed.
• Reconcile daily sales and prepare bank deposits
• Petty cash management and administrative procedures for accounting purposes.
• Actively assist sales staff in the understanding, demonstration, description and selection of merchandise.
• Utilize a working knowledge of all store merchandise including price, any special product considerations, stock location in store and in the back room.
• Know how to properly display merchandise following TOUS display standards to ensure the highest level of visual presentation.
• Ensure sales staff accurately execute store tasks assigned weekly.
• Recruiting, interviewing, and training new staff.
• Assist in annual physical inventory.
• Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of retail management experience required
• Bi-lingual in Spanish and English spoken and written.
• Proficient in the use of a personal computer and corresponding programs
• Attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills and customer service skills required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands:

• Required to walk and stand for 8+ hours.
• Occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to bend, lift or climb.
• Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25-50 pounds).
• Hand coordination required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of retail management experience in a boutique environment
