Position Overview:
As a Retail Sales Associate at Knight Claremont Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, you will be an integral part of our dealership's sales team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect vehicle to meet their needs. Your primary focus will be on engaging with customers, asking insightful questions to understand their preferences, overcoming sales objections, and educating them about our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly as they enter the dealership and actively engage with them to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
- Product Recommendation: Utilize product knowledge and understanding of customer requirements to recommend vehicles that best fit their lifestyle, budget, and preferences.
- Sales Process: Guide customers through the sales process, from initial inquiry to vehicle selection, test drives, financing options, and final purchase. Provide detailed explanations of features, benefits, and pricing options.
- Overcoming Sales Objections: Address any concerns or objections raised by customers with confidence and professionalism. Utilize persuasive techniques and product knowledge to overcome objections and close sales.
- Educational Support: Educate customers about the features, capabilities, and advantages of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and RAM vehicles, as well as additional products and services offered by the dealership, such as warranties, service plans, and financing options.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the dealership's CRM system. Utilize the CRM to track customer interactions, follow-up activities, and sales opportunities.
- Organizational Skills: Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing customer inquiries, scheduling appointments, and prioritizing tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient sales process.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other members of the sales team, as well as dealership staff in other departments, to provide a seamless and positive customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong sales acumen with the ability to persuade and influence customers effectively.
- Knowledge of automotive products, features, and specifications preferred (training will be provided).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or automotive fields is a plus.
