Job description
We are looking for a part time Sales Associate for our Berkeley store. We are a small family owned business specializing in fair trade and artisanal crafts from around the world.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide excellent customer service and check out experience
- Price and restock merchandise as needed
- Receive shipments and count/update inventory as needed
- Pack and ship online orders as needed
- Daily store cleaning and upkeep
- Opening, closing and working at our store independently after training
Requirements include:
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently on specified tasks
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Customer service experience preferred
- Must be available starting from mid April for 2 shifts from 11am-6pm Monday, Tuesday, Saturday or Sunday.
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $18.10 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
