Job description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Flower Shop Associate. As an Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks within our pop-up shop starting in April 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
• Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions
• Assisting customers with floral design selections and arrangements
• Providing product recommendations and upselling to maximize sales
• Utilizing retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change
• Operating the point of sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Contributing to a clean and organized store environment
• Providing exceptional customer service at all times
• Take order deliveries in person and by phone.

Skills:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Knowledge of stock management and inventory control
• Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
• Strong selling skills and ability to meet sales targets
• Ability to operate a point of sale (POS) system effectively
• Excellent communication for providing outstanding customer service
• Have prior retail experience
• Positive Attitude
• Outgoing and fun personality

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
