Job description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Flower Shop Associate. As an Associate, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks within our pop-up shop starting in April 2024.
Responsibilities:
- Stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Operating the cash register and processing customer transactions
- Assisting customers with floral design selections and arrangements
- Providing product recommendations and upselling to maximize sales
- Utilizing retail math skills to calculate prices, discounts, and change
- Operating the point of sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Contributing to a clean and organized store environment
- Providing exceptional customer service at all times
- Take order deliveries in person and by phone.
Skills:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of stock management and inventory control
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Strong selling skills and ability to meet sales targets
- Ability to operate a point of sale (POS) system effectively
- Excellent communication for providing outstanding customer service
- Have prior retail experience
- Positive Attitude
