As the Retail Specialist, you're the friendly face and first impression our Snappy's customers experience when they enter our stores! We are looking for reliable, friendly, and passionate Retail Specialists to join our team. We like to have fun at work while ensuring we deliver our legendary customer experience to all who enter.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Consistently creates a welcoming environment for the customer by greeting, assisting, and responding quickly to their inquiries and needs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable age restricted product regulations such as tobacco and alcohol
- Complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain all coolers, shelves, and displays stocked with the correct merchandise.
- Maintain fountain drink and hot beverage area and equipment
- Maintain security:
- Be alert to shoplifting prevention procedures.
- Safeguard your cash register log in (Point of Sale, POS), only one person can operate a cash register at a time with their assigned POS, no exceptions.
- Follow the correct vendor check in procedures
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience within a retail/food service environment, preferred
- Good eye hand coordination in the performance of numerous tasks
- Must be 18 years of age or older
